You can choose registered on unregistered postal service.
You will be able to recieve calls untill there will be minimum amount of credit left, but you are not forced to make any refills through whole year, you can have sth like 6 polish zloty left on the account and your card still will be valid for one year since last refill, ofc until it will run out of credit for making incoming or outgoing calls.
