I would mix my investment in mining, lending and trading.

ICOs are very dangerous if you don't know how to check their liability.

Find a good tax advisor, when he will want to spend it in real world, he will need it Wink

Buy some real estate. that's one of the only investments for the long-long term that continuously appreciates.

It's a bad idea if you dont know the estates market. It´s easy to overpay.

In the long term, you benefit, regardless.

Bitcoins and ICO's you own nothing, even if you overpay in real estate, 10 years from now you still own something that has value.

either that or go but gold/silver bullion.

Dear All,

one of my friends have 45 BTC in his pocket.(which was bought 5 years ago).

Need expertise advice how to use them effectively??

Research very very well about alcoins .. and then invest 20% of it into 10 altcoins (2% in each) with great potential and currently at low price/market cap. You should be looking for sub 1-cent coins with potential to reach $1 .. and sub $1 coins with potential to reach $50-100. Focus on coins with low total supply.

Hodl all of them for another 5 years. At least 1-2 should hit the target, provided you researched well.

Come thanking me, in this thread, later.

I would take out some of it just incase some sht happens. What should he do with the rest? I would say lend, get some interest on your money. That way not only you will have more if btc keeps rising but you will also gain a % of it while lending it.

If he is looking for multiply them, I believe Gambling and HYIP are not good idea to risk them. Even ICO also not recommended if he is not a subject matter expert. But again, what needed to do depends on lot more factors like, his age, what he is wanted to do (multiply or trade) etc. If it is me (in my middle age), I would use very few of them trading to fait currency and at least 80% of them in HODL. But if the age is < 55 he better inform about this to someone else. Coz, even BTC cap is 21M, I believe some are lost from the market in wallets while death of the owner.  Also, it’s good to have them in a hardware wallet.

Split it and put it in different (cold storage) wallets. Also your friend needs to leave info for his relatives in case an accident happens to him.

I would still be in your place. From week to week the course rises with incredible value. There's still a lot to do with it, especially since it's a very impressive number.
