Of course it depends where he lives and the country's legislation.
I think it will be very difficult for him to withdraw all of a sudden. The best is to withdraw a little and buy a house and rent it (if the real estate market of his country is not in a bubble). Then, do it again and again. Because nothing is worth the stone and the gold. Tell your frienc too that it would be nice to share and give a little to associations.

You didn't say what condition he is in now... young/old work/jobless rent/ownhouse etc
so... sell 1 BTC go on vacation to wherever he always wanted to go all this time (have fun)
if he lives in a medium to small city and still renting an apartment then buy a small but nice home (below 10 BTC)
next get himself a new/used car (2-3 BTC) if he needs transportation to his workplace or daily activities
and spend 1-2 BTC on personal needs, clothes, electronics/gadget, furniture etc to make comfortable home and life

that should leave around 30 BTC which should go to 2-3 different type investments
keep most of it on BTC and crypto currency and do conservative trading to avoid big loss
buy property for rental and/or invest on any promising start up company

this way he will have some tangible assets and passive income for his monthly expenses
and at the same time keeps working and enjoying life as it should
try to balance everything in life so you live energized happy life and not dull boring life

Man, that was the best answer on this thread. But on serious note, if the guy doesn't know what to do with whatever th amount of dollars his BTC are equal to now...He probably should HODL it until he gets an idea.

At the current price, he ain't doing bad, he could invest in
The Stock exchange, or buy property all depends on his situation
If he's financially secure than let him have a blast Smiley

Dear All,

one of my friends have 45 BTC in his pocket.(which was bought 5 years ago).

Need expertise advice how to use them effectively??
I would withdraw them and cash them to spend on something very necessary. Even with the commission will be a good amount, for initial spending for a young family. Well, or a business to create your own.

You could put a few BTC in HexaBot or Chain Group. Keep it in there for a few months and cash out your interest as you go.

Another option would be to buy some coins from the top 10 on CoinMarketCap. All fine investments.

You can also invest a bit in a Masternode and run that.

Wow, hope your friend still hold his bitcoin because the price hit 10000usd. Now to answer your question. I would advice your friend to spend his bitcoin in some ICO like Hdac or invest in altcoin from the top 20 on coinmarketcap. He can also spend one bitcoin for vacation and have some fun a Las Vegas or Bangkok. And create his own business with 10 bitcoin like open an small coffee shop which is very easy to manage.

45 btc, is enough to accommodate your need for entire life :v

easiest way is put it into mining, or invest it on property like houses, or apartement, or you can create new business store. But 1 thing, money can't make you happy,

You can keep it till the end of the year, sell it now, translate it into alts. Think for yourself, decide for yourself, but do not rush.

I would definitely Hodl at least into 2018 and assess the market situation then! It depends if your friend wants to get rid of them now as he/she thinks it has reached max price? if so I'm not sure how you would sell that amount.
