Hi all
I'm a late starter to cryptocurrency, need some input , Would you buy coins on ICO keeping in mind all the scams And and projects that don't amount to anything, or would you Pay premium and buy once they become proven and workable. Await your response to this, have a great day.

Hi, I m also new to cryto world around 1 months plus. I just get started with the Proven and stable coins like Ethereum as it post the most upside potential. And also depend on the individual budget allocation. As I also invested in ICO. As really need to do with due diligence before invested. Welcome to Cryto world.

If you are a late starter/a newbie to cryptocurrency, buy the basic cryptos first, like Bitcoin and Ethereum. These will be less risky and are more trusted and accepted by the community. Once you get yourself more familiarized, try doing research on ICO projects and and think and see if they are worth investing in. Good ICOs are difficult to find out of all the ICOs out there, so do not act rashly, and do due research.

A proven coin is less risky compared to a non tested ICO yet. I suggest you to do some research about the coin you wanted to invest in.

hi,
I would say ICO is much more dangerous than what it used to be. there are no more x5~x10 yielding ICOs due to increasing attention and regulations. I would recommend buying a quality coins with bright future. there are many if you research a bit.

Invest in ICO only if team already proved their qualification, like won in hackathon or have working prototype

Buying crypto on Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is gambling you can't be sure if you get profits. Sometimes you'll win, and sometimes you'll lose. But if you're a risk taker why not. I would suggest buying top altcoins and do crypto trading is safe than buying ICO. It's just my opinion it's up to you what will you choose. Just do research when joining ICO project. Goodluck

Now it is getting harder to make profits with ICO.
I think that it is good to invest in ICO after understanding the risk.

I put on Ethereum because when I watch the market I start to get the impression that it plays a big role in the market. Soon, Bitcoin itself will be a great revolution.

You could choose great project and get x10-x100 profit. The main complexity is that lot of investors don't analyse any projects data. There are too many scamers, paidposters, so you can't trust forums threads and different ICO sites. Look for info about ICO analysing and check as maximum paremeters as you can. Only if project meets the parameters — buy its tokens.

Personally I prefer to stick with proven coins, Bitcoin in my case. It really depends on what your goals are though.

Icos are very risky to invest in. Many icos go to price below ico price because of aordrops dump, campaign dumping coins after coin hit exchnages which result in loss. There are mamy good icos to invest but for that we have to be good in research and potential. So If u are newbie then do not invest and trade in coins instead hold your btc
