Thanks for your question! BitProof catered solely to universities, by contrast, Aversafe’s userbase is much broader, we address the needs of the entire HR ecosystem. That means our verification services not only work with and benefit educational institutions (as is the case with BitProof), but job boards, jobseekers, employers, and even university bound students as well.

Our platform doesn’t just verify the authenticity of academic degrees—we provide credential verification for any professional certificate or license (for exmaple a CPR certification, or language proficiency document) as well as personal information and work histories. Where BitProof only let its users demonstrate the authenticity of their degrees, Aversafe lets users verify every aspect of their professional CV.

Like BitProof, we recognize the seriousness of diploma mills, but we’ve found a way to fight not just fake degrees but all kinds of credential fraud while addressing a major market opportunity in the HR industry.

We’re more commonly compared to other companies in the blockchain identity space like Civic or uPort, but these aren’t particularly good comparisons either. Step 1: Set up an Ethereum wallet
(to store your ether [ETH] and receive the project tokens during the crowdsale.)

Step 2: Buy Cofound.it tokens [CFI]
(to activate your Priority Pass membership and participate in the crowdsale. Requirements to be whitelisted: Cofound.it account with a linked walled containing 5,000 or more CFI tokens.)

Step 3: Create a Cofound.it account and link it to your wallet at the Priority Pass dashboard.
Priority check time (Nov 29 @ 10 AM CET): At this time, the whitelist for each Seed stage crowdsale is compiled.

Step 4: Contribute!

Cofound.it Playoffs Seed Crowdsale process:

● PHASE 1 (starts November 30 at 10:00 a.m.) — limited pre-sale for Priority Pass members only. In this phase, ETH limits are applied, so contributors are able to send a limited amount of ETH. You can check your ETH limit on the project contribution page. You must send ETH from the dashboard registered wallet.

● PHASE 2 (starts November 30 at 6:30 p.m.) — unlimited pre-sale for Priority Pass members only. Whatever tokens are left over from Phase 1 are added to Phase 2. In this phase, there are no ETH limits and contributors are able to send as much ETH as they want. ETH must be sent from the dashboard registered wallet.
