Do you think that in school such a thing as financial literacy is necessary, because we are trained there for life, for work, in short, for making money, but in the end, almost everyone leaves the school financially uneducated, and can not keep everything their money earned. I heard that in some American schools this subject has already been introduced, I think this is the right decision.

Financial literacy should not only be taught in school but in our home first, parents should taught their children to value money, to work hard to earn money and not to depend on their parents for everything so that in the end when they have a job they will appreciate it even more.

Educating children should start at home. Teach them hpw to handle their finances even in a small way like saving some pennies that in the long run can buy something big. See. You can get something big by investing on something small.

Financial literacy is neede to be taught in every ages. As little as your little one to the eldest. This isnt for one to get stingy or what. It is a way of prrparing for the future in a practical and strategic way. Financial literacy is a great way to achieve this.

It's not something that's really taught at schools everywhere, sadly. People would either have to look for it themselves or have someone teach it to them. It becomes even sort of hereditary, as financially-successful parents pass their money-savvy to their kids.

Anyway, if anyone's looking for good books, I think Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a good start. You might not agree with everything but you'll probably pick some good thing from it.

Problem is when the parents themselves don't know anything about managing finances. In my country, I don't think a lot of them would talk about sex education at home, for example.

The State must make an effort giving citizens the basic knowledge on how they should manage their hard-earned money but it seems that's not a priority.

These days in the eve of electronics, online transactions and crypto currency financial literacy is a mist have. Especially for teens and early earners so they don't spend all their hard earned money traveling and living their lives working all the time and don't have anything to show for it. If i have known financial literacy way back when i was working, then life would've been much easier

I agree with you.

Personally, I want to get financial literacy because I want to spend my money wisely when I start to earn money when I get a job. I also want to invest in business.

Definitely a must!  This is one of the things i wish i learned in school,  because when i enter the battle of real world this is where i struggle the most.  Having the right mindset about finances actually is what our future generation needs.

This new reality in the age of technology and the huge amount of information that floods us every day requires us a new kind of knowledge about finance and smart management

I think we need financial literacy so we will know how to handle our finances. Most people are good on making money, but are also good on spending it... Usually we spend money because we want something, not because we need it. Without financial literacy we can lost everything that we earned, same with those instant millionnaires who turned into beggar or below middle class because they dont know how to handle their finances.. Opposite with those businessmen or someone who knows how to manage their money... they are the one who usually succeed when it comes to growing their money, because they know how to budget it based on their needs and priorities.

Financial literacy must be taught to everyone for us not to be clueless on how to be financially knowledgeable when we get older.  Financial literacy must be taught even to students so that they'll be responsible enough in handling money and be financially secured in the future

In some countries, for example in Russia, financial literacy will not help. Not everywhere the economy works in accordance with the law.
I studied economics at the university, but in today's realities, this knowledge does not help me.

Literacy of any kind is extremely important.
What will other think about you if you simply cannot write without mistakes?

Yes, we need it I think as early as preschools we have to teach our children to save and to value money so that they will not waste money to something un important..also at school they should be taugh more on how to use your monye for more profitable use, and to save for the future.

Obviously it should. In this era, we are learning everything but we are not learning how to make value of money. Many countries have this subject and they are teaching children how to make value of this.

Absolutely!
Btw, take care: usually in school you learn how to manage other people money, not how to make them

Totally agree with you. In most cases this happens I think. Otherwise most people would fail as soon as they have to stand on their own feet. As the OP has stated, we mostly dont learn anything about this stuff in school and therefor are thrown in cold water when we face the reality of finances. Students should also be taught how to pay taxes and what kind of insurances they need when they are older. Unfortunately in my country schools lack these topics completely.
