Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Can I mine XMR on RX 550 2GB with 1 fan ?
I need to mine XMR only !

Great question, i would say i am not sure about 2GB ram.
RX550  , do u currently have this card?

Rather go buy a decent RX 470 if u can get  one - mining edition or RX570.
Else get a decent GTX 1050 4GB which is low power consumption
Else get a decent GTX 1060 3GB

Was going to say, if u have the card, just start and try to mine.

You can try Stak (https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases).

And Claymore (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=638915.0).

Very good answer man.

I can add that he can use XMRIG also for CPU mining XMR..... faster than Fierce UK version, by a smidgen.

I don't have the card but I dont have a lot of money for 1060 because its very expenesive in the country that I live so I tought that only for monero it will be a decent GPU (Im not planing to get extremly high Hashrates or something like that).
And for the price of 1 1060 I can buy almost 3 RX 550 (I will need to add something like 20$ - 35$ at MAX).
I was planning to get hashrate of 300 H/s ~ 350 H/s.
So will it be fine if I will buy 2 RX550's ?

Yeah radeon cards are pretty highly recommended one to mine the any coins and you can mine with that but if you have 4 or 8 GB cards would preferable than this. If you have a multiple rx 550 cards you can make around 300 to 400 USD for a month after the electricity consumption.
Please check the hash power it producing by checking it in the mining calculator you can find the calculation what is your profit in those kind of sites.

I have some RX550 2GB cards in one of my rigs, they do about 320 H/s on stock settings below 30w. Im using this miner for XMR: https://www.amdxmrminer.com/downloads

Seems legit! Go for it, man. XMR is easy to mine.

You can even mine SUMO or other lower difficulty coins so you get a higher sharerate for more steady hashing.

It's usually not a good idea to buy low-end cards for mining. If you're only planning to buy one then yes — you could mine Monero with a 2gb RX 550 (you don't need much vram for XMR mining). But if you're thinking 2 or more — then an RX 470/570 will definitely be a better buy. You'll have access to ETH mining with that, and it'll be at least twice as fast in XMR mining than RX 550. It's also a better gaming card if you're interested in that.

Hi everybody

I really don't understand why XMR is so trendy.

fees are really too heavy (and not easily predictable)

Totally agree with you here. It's actually a valid point for a very small miner like the topic starter - he'll have a lot of problems moving his XMR since the fees are quite high indeed and many pools have very high minimum payouts (the last pool I was mining XMR on was only paying after you mine at least 0.5 XMR with them).
