It doesn't change the fact that the price of this miner is horribly overpriced and that Bitcoin nor any crypto isn't a payment method... Why would you post something like this in the first place when crypto is clearly not even a payment method? It makes no sense. A month or two ago you could find S5s readily available for around $100 dollars.

It's fast enough. it was promised dhl, but in fact deliver spsr express. it is when the parcel arrives in your city and there is a week and then it is delivered. not very fast express. мaйнep looks if they played football. case cover is not all and those who were have curvature. but the device works. fan sometimes makes sounds like the work of circular saw blade.

Was a good experience just with regards to shipping I felt that the customs could have been avoided if proper research and expertise was applied to void the holding period. This happened to a friend of mine who's supplier got around paying for customs.

I honestly have no idea why people are saying that is overpriced or that you can't make your money back on an S5. Not trying to start a fight, I'm dead serious, I don't know where that comes from. Check any and everywhere else, that is below average (especially in the US, look at ebay or craigslist).

IMO that's a decent price, especially if it's the one that includes the psu; you will make it back in half a year (or less if bitcoin keeps rising in value at the current rate), and if you throw some aftermarket quieter fans on it it will make a nice little space heater.

A note though: at $.11/kwh, it earns around $20/month, not $50, but it IS profitable if you are using the heat, as a space heater running at the same wattage would cost the same anyway. It's not the best longterm investment, but if you heat or help heat your home with it, then it's pretty darn profitable for what it is...

Also as a note: not sure who your particular seller is, but I bought an S5 from a seller on aliexpress. It took around 3 weeks to arrive, so be prepared for that (sat in customs [I think?] in China for like 2 weeks). Arrived today and is happily hashing away and heating my living room. Seems to work great, though the heat sensors don't appear to work (everything runs fine, including fan speeds, but the temps both show 0). Got it pointed at Nicehash and all seems fine and good.
