Bitfinex - love their lending , site is ok, but number of trading currencies is very small
Bittrex - good one
Poloniex - they have everything but site is working very bad, transactions are constantly stuck
Binance - Site is pretty good, selection of coins is decent. May be my next poloniex, but they have to implement lending
And waiting fro motherfucking NVO

Based on my experience, I have only 3 in my list: The first is bittrex which is the number one exchange and second is Cryptopia and the third is Bitgrail which is mainly for XRB traders.

After bitrex. You can find the polenix, finance, ether Dela andcso on. Choose the right exchange which you like or the exchange contains the more number of coins in the market.
When you check in the coinmarketcap site you may find most of the token coin added to the bitrex only first so check the coin in that site and go for trading.

Two of my favorite exchanges are cryptopia and liqui. I've never experienced any issues while working with them. Also Liqui has very simplistic and handy design.

Follow up: what are some of your least favorite?

I'm looking mainly for altcoin exchanges. I can really only name 3 or 4, but please feel free to add to the list:

- Poloniex
- Bittrex
- cryptopia.nz
- c-cex

My list of trusted exchanges is... none. Frankly, if hacking a exchange will report millions in just one day, what is the incentive on keeping them safe an make less proft with much more work? We need a regulation and exchanges need insurance.

There are lots of crypto exchanges around the internet but these are my most used and trusted crypto exchange website since i got here:

1. Etherdelta;
2. HitBTC; and
3. YoBit.

I check those site that you've said and it has a lot of good comment on different forum. I think it's safe to use those exchange website and apps. Thanks bro!

My most used is Cryptopia and Nova but nova is now gone and Binance replaced it on my list. I won't say they are trusted because I'm positively sure before that EtherDelta couldn't be hacked but it happened recently.

What happened in etherdelta is really intriguing to think it's decentralized yet it get hacked, good thing nothing happens in my coins.
However, I still use ED as my main platform as I mostly trade using eth. My list also consist of coinexchange, bittrex and hitbtc.

Poloniex is being scratched off the list:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2687216.0

And Bittrex is hanging on the rails by a thread.

Any non U.S.-based exchanges to be recommended? I guess Cryptopia is pretty good.

Since I am something of a globe-trotter these days, I need an exchange that won't get fussy and hold my coins simply because they don't like my IP address. Thanks.

I'm also hearing Binance and KuCoin are good go-tos... But I'd like some feedback of user experience there before I send any coins there. I am very wary these days.

I'm doing ok with the stock exchanges Poloniex and Bittrex. I do not pay attention to isolated cases. Problems of a different nature exist on all exchanges.

"Isolated cases"? Did you read the comments in the thread link I posted? There's over ONE HUNDRED different users complaining about having the EXACT same problem with Polo. They are about to exit scam. No doubt in my mind.

I use a lot of exchanges. But I will vote for binance. Although binance was in the top 1 in the world, I think it's not that simple. Because the withdrawal and exchange fees are very easy to verify and use. And there are many good coins listed there
