I have a quick question about tokens in MEW wallets.
Do i need to have ETH on my MEW wallet in order to 1. get tokens (f. e. via airdrops) 2. to send tokens somewhere else?
If so what amount of ETH is needed.

1. it depends on airdrop
2. No, you don't need ETH on you wallet, but you have to remember the transaction fees

Some Airdrops I seen want you to have at least .1 eth in your address to be accepted into the Airdrop. This is done to try and discourage users from receiving more than one Airdrop if they have multiple addresses. Besides that, you need Eth to buy/sell or send your tokens on Etherdelta.

Hey Dude,
1. It depends on the rules of airdrop
2. You need at least some Etherum to cover the Gas costs! How much depends on the state of network and tokens requirements.

Good luck!

1. it depends on airdrop requirement
2. absolutely you must have ETH balance to send token to another address as the transaction fee, because the fee use ETH.

Absolutely, ETH is the main crytpo fro MEW, and the good thing about MEW, it supports most of new tokens. Cheers!

yeah, but if we join an airdrop, some token developer obligate to donate them, that's the same meaning with receive particular token we need ETH also.

Thanks 4 all the answers. now i know that ill need some ETH on my MEW wallet to send my tokens Cheesy great
But im still not sure about the amount of ETH needed. Like would it be enough 2 just have like 0.001 ETH which would be cents in fiat?

to send a token you need 0.01 for the transaction fee GAS.
but to received token no need to have a eth.

You saying i need 0.01 ETH or 0.01 GAS. i dont know how much GAS is one ETH btw.^^
0.01 ETH would be quite expensive, not?
