hey im only getting 1.45/hr on a gtx 1060 6mb. what could be the cause?

What algorithm/coin are you mining? What software are you using also?

Has this happened before with your gpu, is there anything in your software's log file (if there is one).

i'm using nicehash. using equahash with a speed of around 300 h/s. nothing in log file showing any type of problem

According to this the debug log should be in the logs folder in your nicehash directory. Can you locate that and paste that here (or pm me with it if you don't want it's contents to be displayed here publically on the forum).

i'm running version 2 and there is no log file. legacy had the log file

Ah. Do you have anything that was provided by the computer/gpu's manufacturer that can test its preformance? Is your internet peed the same as it nomally isand are there any abnomal processes running on your computer that could interfere with your mner.

i have tested the gpu with novabench and userbench and it is performing average like others. the games i play run real good with the video card. my internet speed is about 20meg

All seems normal on that part of your computer. Possibly try removing any data the miner installs and reinstalling it to test it's not a connectivity issue stemming from an internal problem. Is it logged on your nicehash statistics on the web page as being that low also?
