I believe the term for what you are looking for is POS (proof-of-stake) coins. These are the coins that give "dividends" simply by being held.

It's a token based on the ETH blockchain and it can be minted for dividends every 3 days. The difference from NEO is that with POS token, you have to manually mint them (every 3 up to 90 days) to get the dividends. You can find and trade it on etherdelta and coinexchange.

There are a couple that I can think of right now that pay dividends.  One is COSS token, a exchange that pays 50% of transaction fees to its token holders weekly. The other ones that I will list are developing but they look very promising (spectre.ai and dcorp.it). It would be wise to invest in these tokens as they will be generating a lot of dividends to their token holders.
