I've finally got all my hardware up and running, bios updated and all that jazz but I've yet to hook up my first rig to the internet. I searched through some threads, most with complaints about windows update and I'm wondering what the current opinion is regarding updates on a fresh system. Should I go ahead and let this thing update to a certain point or do I just want the whole deal disabled from the get-go? Running windows 10 pro.

Running and updating to the new windows 10 build 1709 will allow you to run an unlimited amount of GPUs from the same manufacturer.
Updated version has been working fine on my rig almost a month now so yeah. Shouldn't hurt.

Some Windows Updates may involve changes in drivers, our miners app are sensitive to it, and might cause instability when changed. might have a test rig first before deploying to farm.
