Bitcoin compounding company?

Hello,

Came here to inquire on a company that my friends claim they are 'compounding' their bitcoin with. A long time friend (not a scammer) showed me this service and he is making very good money with it so far. But I am very skeptical - because he is telling me that it is a business opportunity too. Looks like MLM to me bc the goal is to get other people lending under him, He makes money by lending his coins in small amounts to this service and they pay him around 1% per day whether bitcoin goes up or down. And that's the part that I have seen and intrigues me.

Btw - im not a bitcoin noob - just new to this board. Any help/guidance on this will be appreciated!
