I just called to Bithumb, even though they allow foreign accounts, there is a problem with the sign up sms verification (but this has been going on for months now though)...
I don't really want to borrow anyone's number, just use it to sign up after which the person gives me the code they receive.

님 말씀대로 한국은 휴대전화 번호가 아주 중요히 쓰이기 때문에
함부로 다른 사람에게 알려주는건 좋지 않은것 같습니다.
계속해서 일어나는 좋지 않은 일때문에 계좌 여는것도 힘드니 말이예요.
