Beaming Internet with Drones?

Idea like Launching 100 Drones from point A and landing at B, another 100 Drones take off from B, continue beaming Internet & land at point C, another 100 Drones take off from C, continue beaming Internet land at D. This goes and on. ..
Meanwhile, Drones immediately start charging by humans as they land. They are quickly positioned for take off after fully charged.

Their data will be hosted on Blockchain and their Control Center may be managed by humans through Blockchain.

Wonder if this has been done before? Will be great to see some ICOs lunched for this by anyone for just Cryptocurrency community.

✴Idea inspiration is from YouTube and a US company.

I remember that some Facebook employees had the idea of spreading free internet across some third world countries using baloons. This would be a very expensive project and the funds rised by some ICO won`t be enough to cover the costs.Drones are too small, perhaps zeppelins and baloons will do a better work, because they can fly higher. Can you share with use the Youtube videos with this idea,OP?

It wasn't really a single video. Just watching any Drone video inspired me.

By the way I don't not condone people using the terms "Third World" on my posts.  Those are propaganda terms and maybe intentionally created to denigrate people from the so called" Third World" and may greatly affect kids self-esteem.
Whoever taught people those words have since stopped using them.
We all live in one World. Thank alot

Pardon me for playing the devil's advocate.  But I dont think you will be needing a blockchain for keeping and storing all the data. Wont a database, centrally maintained and secured, be more cost-effective for that?

Unless your definition of a blockchain is different from mine.

You do know that a blockchain can store information? And for some reason I think it is more cost effective and secure to store the data in the blockchain.

I believe it's well established that blockchains can store information. The issues come when you scale a blockchain. How do you expect to store that much information in a blockchain? Consuming things from the internet would be an immense challenge for a blockchain. At this stage in the technology, there are many things a blockchain isn't suited to handle and this can't be over looked.

I agree with a previous poster that balloons are better suited for distributing internet. Drones are expensive, don't have a very long flight time (relative to 100% up time that is necessary for internet), are susceptible to weather conditions, and even illegal in some countries.

A less expensive option would be balloons, like they are doing with this ---> https://x.company/loon/ ..... I will quote them, " We aim to launch and

maintain a fleet of balloons to provide Internet coverage to users on the ground, with our Autolaunchers capable of safely and consistently

launching a new balloon every 30 minutes.
We have flown over 25 million km of test flights to date since the project began - with one of our

record-breaking balloons surviving for 190 days aloft in the stratosphere.
" The predator can stay up in the air for about 26 hours, whereas some

of the unarmed drones can stay in the air for up to 72 hours.  Grin
