Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Have you ever sent one via PM to someone or posted any other sort of crypto address anywhere? If not, then you'll have to try convince cyrus some other way that the account belongs to you, but I wouldn't hold your breath because there's a backlog of cases and if you can't easily prove the account is yours you might be out of luck or waiting a very long time.

Signing a message is the standard way to provide proof of ownership. I'm afraid that you need to start a new account and never hope to recover your account if you can't accomplish doing so.
