Running Win 10 Fall CU (build 1709), how on earth can i get this damn thing to run in the system tray and not stay active on the main launch bar when the GUI is open.

When Electrum is running, you will find its icon in the system tray. Just double click it to toggle between hide/show.

AFAIK that's the only way to do that.

I was going crazy because of this thing!

Thanks a lot for the hint, I finally learned to minimize it "properly".

P.S. I also believe it could have been better to have it as a configurable option under the settings menu.
