Didn't find BTG on wavesplatform. Anyway, be careful, that you really deal with Bitcoin Gold there. There where sold fake coins (like fake Bitcoin). Don't know, whether they managed to avoid new coins with names of well known cryptocurrencies.

Evidently you can create a coin on Waves and call it whatever you want. It is very easy to trick people. Be careful using that platform.
