Well, that is true, it has that capacity to connect people. Just like in this forum, where people are from different regions of the world, but see a similar field where everyone can share their thoughts and knowledge. For me, however, I love to continue learning about cryptcurrencies because it is a good way for me to earn extra income. I chanced upon it during the time I was looking for a part-time job, thus, I really appreciate how it became very useful to me, and in addition, helped me finance and answer my needs. It gave me financial freedom, in a way, that helped me enjoy what I earn as well.

For me its two things. Number one is the decentralization part. Imagine when bitcoin and other decentralized currencies will become global, it might end most wars, bloodshed and poverty in most countries. The other reason is that it has made made financial independent.
