Hi everyone,

I'm Ed, from Salarium.

Salarium is a Filipino payroll and e-banking platform that already provides services to hundreds of companies, and over 10,000 employees. Most of these employees already use SALPay, our debit MasterCard paired with an e-wallet. We provide banking services to Filipinos that no other banks can.

Most of our customers (about 50%) are BPOs, so they receive their money from countries abroad. Filipinos get paid twice a month, so the costs of sending the money every 2 weeks through traditional banking are incredibly costly. Not to mention that, once they get their money in the Philippines, they will have to transfer it into our e-wallet ecosystem to pay their employees!

SALPay Tokens solve this problem, that our clients have been asking about. In fact, when we released the first information about our ICO, several of our clients reached out to us to try it as soon as they can!

And SALPay Tokens don't only help us with that: Our currency will also help us tap into the remittance business, which is huge in the Philippines (overseas Filipinos send around USD26 billion every year, and growing). We can help them send their money straight into an account with a MasterCard, ready to spend or cash out.

With Smart Contracts, we will also be tapping into the freelancer market, putting the money in escrow and using our time and work-tracking tools to send the payment to the freelancer as soon as the work is done, or back to the employer if the contract hasn't been honored.

I was being asked earlier if what is my motivation in buying Sal Tokens. If this is for investment or (i forgot the other one)  But i guess it is something to do with the remittances etc. But for me, I would like to try this as an investment. Honestly, i didn't try cryptocurrency yet but i have a background with other investment types here in the Philipppines. I believe that this is being traded also in a exchange, so i would like to know the exchange where i can  see the historical performance of ETH and where can I avail this? I trust for your reply the soonest. Thanks.

 And you will certainly be able to check the growth of our currency, post-ICO. There are many important advantages for our ICO, and if you bought during the pre-sale, you already have one (the 5% bonus)! Some of the main advantages that we have versus other ICOs:

- There's no barrier to enter for us. Many cryptos' value depends on user adoption. For us, the users are already there, and growing; we're building this for them.
- We solve 3 problems that are quite evident (BPOs salaries, freelance payments, and remittances), and the volume is considerable in all of them.

As I watched your video, I watched you already have your investors and the needed investment on 2014.  Why do you need to have an ICO while you already have the fund way back 3 years ago?  If you have managed the company perfectly, then probably you won't be needing this ICO and offer your service directly to the companies.  I am just wondering..

Hi there!

 Our card does have an EMV, and we've been operating in the Philippines for years.
 We have a steady growth of clients that will be even faster with our ICO, since a big amount our clients (current and future) are BPOs who need to send millions from their countries into our platform every two weeks. We're currently drafting a new strategy that involves some of our old marketing routes (events, online) and a lot of new ones, so growth is almost guaranteed!

 Thanks for your question. The investment that we have was to build Salarium and SALPay, our payroll solution and payment ecosystem. We have been operating it for a couple of years already, and our numbers are good. But many of our clients want to remit money directly into our platform, and cheaply. We can offer those services through crypto, but we will need to build exchanges in their countries, and another one in the Philippines, so their money can be converted into PHP right away, to pay the salaries of their employees.

In order to build and process those exchanges, we will need liquidity. That's the reason for our ICO.

my purpose of joining the Salpay ico is the remittance aspect of it.
i can clearly see with the salpay mastercard that you can use this for spending in the philippines and withdrawing money

im an ofw and sometimes send money to my sisters or mother for blowouts or just want to treat them with a night out movie and food
ofw's usually send every month because of the fees. but with 1% fees for salpay you can just send anytime you want even in small amounts

this is why i want salpay to succeed i can clearly see its use case for the OFW Community
