Why do you need to fork Ethereum?
The cost of transactions is not such expensive now. The latest tx costed $0.008.
Anonymous coins already exist (ZCash, Monero).
We wanted to get anonymous payments in the Ethereum network, but not a new blockchain.

Kind of unrelated but I think we all forget how good Ethereum really is considering it's current scope compared to bitcoin. Ethereum transactions are (thankfully) incredibly cheap compared to bitcoin's insane fees. |

If the Plasma Like protocol, BANKEX, reduces the cost of transactions on the Ethereum network to 0 and its use is safe, there is no point in creating your own blockchain. |
