Do you think it would be possible to make a living on bitcoin mining if you bought enough shares in a group buy?
 Please discuss.

Ive made a comfortable living off BitCoin and Litecoin, mainly because I invested early on, but its do-able if you know how to properly trade... right now it takes a hell of a lot of cpu power to mine enough BTC to make a living on.

If you bought enough mining shares, it would definitely be possible. Although the amount you would need to invest would be quite high.

You have to have enough money to have enough shares for it to make a living out of the earnings.   But if you have so much money I guess there will be other ways of making a easier living.

The profit in bitcoin seems to be in service or active speculation against other currencies. Just wait till I open up my bitcoin bed and breakfast.

Or maybe id just rent out a single, bitcoin themed room within a b&b, and never touch the bitcoin income, just cover the upkeep with the fiat. Just let it sit there and value upward while it accumulates digital cobwebs  Grin

I think, that situation will change soon. Sure, it is possible, but you need to invest in new equipment, because of huge amount of asic miners, that will be online soon. On the other hand, nobody knows, how the bitcoin price and difficulty will change. Asic will start mining, but a lot of small miner can stop because of low income. Only time will show Smiley

Hello All, I am new to the Foreum. I am interested in accepting bitcoins for my beekeeping business, it is also a resturant, so I am very interested in Point of Sale Software around intergrating oldskewl Credit Cards and Bitcoin cards for my customers.

You need money to make money.

If what you're after is a get rich quick scheme, look elsewhere, rob a bank, or start your own pump-and-dump coin.
