Hi Smiley

I'm releasing my simple block explorer, which I have named Block Crawler.

There is a release thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=244041.msg2588815#msg2588815

I'm also announcing this here because I know that I, for one, hardly ever explore outside the altcoin sub forums. Let's please keep most of the chatter in the actual release thread.

COIN DEVS:

You know have the easy option to have a basic block explorer up and running when you release your code.

The only setup required is to add the JSON-RPC credentials to your (hopefully SSL secured) daemon. You can run the script off of any web server that supports PHP/cURL, and it will connect to a daemon on a remote host.

Tips, gifts, and "bounties" are all appreciated, if you're feeling generous.  My bitcoin address is in the script, I can get a wallet if you prefer another coin.

"With e-currency based on cryptographic proof, without the need to trust a third party middleman, money can be secure and transactions effortless." -- Satoshi

you are a true gentleman of the crytpo world Coinerd.

Who loves ya, baby?

BIG update for Block Crawler today.

I've added a very flexible API.  This one is the key to your status panels and basic integration with existing web services, chat bots, etcetera. Documentation for using the API and adding or removing security precautions is in the file "bc_api.php".

Installation is a matter of dropping the file in the directory with your existing bc_daemon.php file.  Done. Sample URLS with valid responses, errors, and security blocks are in the release thread.

Please let me know if you have any questions or find a problem.  As ever, your compliments and donations are appreciated!
