150$ to trade

Hello everyone!

I'm new here but I hope to find some help of you. I have 150$ on bitcoins and I want to try trading some altcoins for short term.

First question is wich exchanges are better for this? I was thinking to split this 150$ on Livecoin, HitBtc, Cryptopia and Yobit. The reason is because the have a lot of markets. What do you think, is a good idea?

Second question, wich is better in your opinion? Arbitrage or buy low sell high?

This questions for now. If i will have more, I will put it here.

PS: I want to make a challenge, make 1000$ from 150$.

In my opinion Bittrex is better because in this exchange many altcoin available to trade with bigger volume than other, also they has full regulation based on USA. For the better do day trading with buy low sell high because arbitrage only promising small profit, and also ca be loss if the confirmation transaction too long. And Day short trading will be more safe than long term trading especially for altcoin paired with BTC, because price of BTC strong up trend.

It's could be really harmful for you and your deposit to try active trading. Most probably you will lose your money. The best strategy for newbies and non-traders is to use HODL strategy + (may be) invest in ICOs during the ICO or after token already listed. In any case you should study how to make project research!

This is possible but its hard to have it fast BTW if you want  to trade in different exchange i suggest to forget it the fee sending BTC is high its better if you will focus on one exchange for now , seperate it when you already have more funds.

first of all,i think bittrex is the best choice,then,you can do buy low sell high if you are good at trading.If you know nothing about trading skills,i think you should buy a good coin,and HODL,just hold

Trading not so simple as you thougth, but actually it is real to do 1000$ from 150$ from a month. You just need chek out different altcoins and buy when low and sell when high, and stay away from arbitrage imho.

Altcoin trading takes time and so patience is needed. it applies to traders with just a very small amount to play. its not fore everyone, its not easy to do and not like you get to earn $20 each day as well.
Those who are already in to it don't get to earn much unless they have enormous amount to invest that even just a raise of 0.000001 they get to earn still. my suggestion is to find better way to earn maybe learning a skill can help.

Take a look at this advice and use long term strategy! Trading is very hard job. It would seem like it's easy enough. But it's not at all.

don't know about Livecoin
HitBtc is a decent place
Cryptopia is very good but it is still one of the small exchanges but it is growing
Yobit is bad and shady.
Bittrex that someone suggested is acting very shady these days, they even scammed people recently
Poloniex is good with high volume but many users have lots of issues with their services and it is based in US and that is always bad and best be avoided if you can.

arbitrage has its benefits but normal trading is always better in my opinion specially for starters.

good plan, but try not to get greedy, and try to learn how the altcoins work and how you can make profit from their pumps before investing.

f you are such a great specialist, then of course, in a couple of months of persistent losing trade, you can do it. But, as practice shows, such ambitious people quickly drain their capital. To start trading, you need to start with a small one. If you go to the market, you should be ready to melt with your money otherwise, you can quickly burn down psychologically.

Youll profit only small with your 150$ money with day trading also as a newbie it is much more possible that you will only loose your trades just keep your 150$ as bitcoin and dont trade until you have more

My advice is to divide your funds in bitcoin and ethereum and just hold them. You will see that is the best strategy on cryptocurrency market.

First, good luck, second, I would only go for one exchange and of those I would pick Hitbtc, you do not have enough funds to split across many exchanges. Third, buy low sell high, while arbitrage can be good you'll waste a lot on fees with your small amount which will make it difficult for you to profit greatly.

If you don't have the experience, it's likely you'll lose all your money. That being said, $150 is not much so if you do lose it, think of it has a $150 lesson. For an exchange, I'd recommend Bitrex to trade on but use Coinigy as they have better graphs to use technical analysis on. Good luck!

ICOs are a solid way to make money for beginners as long as you do the research.

Note that every time you move your crypto...you will be charged fees. $150 is not much and sending them to multiple exchanges will eat a big chunk out of it.  Choose one for now (Bittrex or Binance) depending on what coins/tokens you want to trade.

If I am you, I'd hold the BTC and keep it where it is.

First of all do not split your coins in different exchanges. You have only 150$ worth coins and moving them around in exchanges will get you lot of Tx fee. I will recommend to convert these dollars in Bitcoin and deposit them on Poloniex. Then buy few good coin from there like Ripple, Eth etc and hopefully you will be able to make profits.

I like cryptopia.

There are is a lot of price fluctuation with smaller coins that has a lot of opportunity for buy low sell high scenarios.
A couple weeks ago, I tried my hand at active day trading and was able to turn around a pretty big profit.
However, it was stressful and my timing was lucky.
I can really see how you can lose a lot of money by trying to day trade.

So now, I just choose more reliable coins, buy low, put in a sell order for higher and just let it sit until it gets filled.
Right now, btc and alts are going through another ballooning stage so this will help to increase your assets.

Some things to avoid:
Don't go all in on one coin
Don't get too greedy and set a sell order for too high
Choose a coin that has high volume of trading

And Polonix, and Bitrex? I chose the most fraudulent stock exchanges where they will dump and pamply. There, just and you will salt your capital. At arbitration it is now difficult to earn, because the divergences on the exchanges are minimal. And while money runs from one stock exchange to another, the exchange rate can be equalized, and you will already lose money on the distillation of coins.
