Man, they're not making this easy!  Cheesy I'm in NY. I want to buy some of the alt cryptos like Dash, Ripple, Monero. I just found out I can't use Poloniex or Kraken in NY. I can use Coinbase but they only offer Bitcoin, Eth and Litecoin. Anybody found a good exchange for alt cryptos that a NY'er can trade on?

You cant buy most coins straight up with USD. Best thing you can do is to buy BTC or ETH via coinbase end send the coins over to a reputable exchange like Bittrex and or Binance, depending on which certain coins you're planning on trading. The trading pair of lesser known coins is BTC/x-coin and not USD/x-coin.

Binance Platform asks for a label to effect withdrawal. What is this? Thank you.

I think you might be able to use Bittrex in NY. However you will need to get some BTC or ETH in order to made a deposit.
