I have a 2011 S2 Casascius coin. Does anyone know what these typically go for? I assume a multiple of the prevailing bitcoin price.

These sell regularly on Ebay. They are usually sold funded and well over the value of the bitcoin in them. Be very careful if you accept paypal payment due to cashbacks.

Have a look in the goods section and collectables.  I would recommend moving this thread there

A lot depends on the condition of the coin. 2011 s2 had a smaller mint run than the other brass coins

Post pics, or pm them, and I can help

It's worth its face value + the loaded BCH + the premium typically paid for the collectible worth of the coin. It's difficult to pinpoint an exact premium (the other values can be calculated based on the current BCH/BTC price). The best way to get a feel for the market price is by running an auction (but could often result in you getting a slightly lower price than expected).

Lowest-mintage brass year+series combo. Nice.

No longer buying/selling Casascius coins. Beware scammers.

Amazed these always sold for so much less than the 2011 S1 "error".
