Early this morning, I bought 100.00 USD of bitcoin and had it moved to my wallet. This is my first time buying bitcoin and I accidentally entered the address for my bitcoin cash wallet. Will I still see the funds deposited or is this just simply lost money? It has been several hours and although the transaction appears to have gone through with the transaction ID search, it has not shown up in my wallet. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Meaning you transfer your bitcoin into bitcoin cash wallet?

You may check here if you received it in your bitcoin address: https://blockchair.com/

Come back here later on.

Well, it shows as received on that site but I still do not see it in my wallet via the bitcoin.com App. I purchased $100.00 worth of bitcoin. When it asked for an address, I accidentally entered my bitcoin cash wallet address instead of my bitcoin wallet. Does this affect my ability to receive it in my wallet?

I think it can be traced if the transactions made was legit and not scam deals mate. Because we can really check the actual transactions if done through blockchain.info website, and the transparency of the actual sending can be viewed exactly. If there's any problem about it, well you bought a scam bitcoin from non legit dealer.

May we know the address? You will really not see it on your app wallet because it doesn't support bitcoin cash.

Bitcoin address can received bitcoin cash but you can't spend it on bitcoin network. You may need to export your keys from the address you have sent then import it on a bitcoin wallet. Give a try.

I bought from buy.bitcoin.com

Wow i have never heard about that site before, maybe you got scammed because that seems to be a very shady site, i would never think about buying in there because i know that i am obviously going to get scammed in there.
it is has go through, then you are a lucky guy, because that site is just like being dealing on the dark web.
If you sent it to your bitcoin cash wallet, well, then my tell you that there is nothing that you can do in order to recover that money again, you just try to be more smart and dont make that kind of mistakes in the future.
Maybe it was just $100 now, but they can be $1000 tomorrow, and that would be a huge loss.

To avoid bitcoin loss when exchanging, you should review the received and sent address before transaction. If you send or receive a wrong bitcoin address, you will lose it and will not be able to get it back.

A lot of things could be involved, it could be due to improper transaction like not check the wallet address properly before sending, wrong coin transaction code, aven poor network. That's why its always expedient to check very well and patiently and attentively do it. Though it may not be least expected since you are just trying for the first time. It will add to your experience.

Maybe you guys are answering my question and I don't realize it because I'm new to this, but I would like to clarify that the transaction went through. I have checked it on blockchair.com. the address is correct. The network was fine. The only thing that was wrong was that I accidentally sent the BTC to my BCC Wallet and nothing is showing up. The address cannot be wrong as it was a direct copy and paste. The only thing in the most recent response I don't understand is the "wrong coin transaction code." What is that exactly?

By the way, thank you all for trying to help me out.

Sometimes i feel also that my bitcoin is losing because sometimes the transaction in exchanges is too slow or delayed.
