They are not the owner of the site however they refer people to play poker and handle the promotions. They give out freebies every month so that users will be able to play.

There is no such thread that compiles or poker promotion available. You can start your own thread for it because poker is not too popular here unlike does game which is easy to play and doesn't need too many requirements in able to play and also there are only few online poker site that accepting bitcoin are trusted or well known right now. Poker is not yet in spot light in crypto. IMO.

the only promotion I know is in Americascardroom and it's a first deposit bonus , so if you don't have account there check it out cause there is some good value
the sad thing is that you have to verify your account with ID . cause ACR is a fiat site that accepts bitcoin
other bitcoin sites are dead these days , you can't find good active games so it's like impossible to have promotions

That's very old thread (created on 2013), the mentioned site on that thread is not even accessible. How could you suggest a dead site for him? Nowadays, it is hard to find promo from bitcoin poker sites, the number of existing bitcoin poker sites is also not good enough. Only few sites that still active, and as I know most of the promo is just like freeroll, rakeback or jackpot.

What kind of promos you are looking for? You should be active in visiting poker sites one by one to check the available promos.

There is no thread about poker promotions here. Do you ever heard nitrogensports ? I usually play poker in that site and always joined their poker freeroll. There are many freerolls here everyday, if you an active poker player this site is good for you. You can join a free tournament with big rewards.

Actually there are some here and there occasionally, but really the reason why there aren't much of these promotions for poker is that there are not much bitcoin poker sites. Not because the bitcoin community does not have interest in poker. More on there is little interest in online poker. The pros that farm newbies call the newbies, "fish" which just is like saying they are fishing for the money of these people. I guess that is why there is no staying power on poker, since if the newbies get tired of losing money and there is only a few chance they see they are winning then they get tired and just don't play anymore. I guess that is a hurdle for poker sites to get over.

More than newbies getting tired of loosing to pros there are some other hurdles as follows:
1) player colluding which is near impossible to prevent in virtual world in multi player tables.
2) No provably fair randomization of deck so its very hard for some one to believe that he/she is not being cheated.
3) how do you know that the other player you are playing with is not a casino employee who is able to see your whole cards and there fore you stand no chance.

I don't think this is true. I love poker, but I think online poker with crypto is facing a lot of difficulties and it's definitely not becoming popular at all. It's very hard to find tables with a lot of players, and as you can see from the reactions in this thread, there aren't many promotions around it, and that shows that casinos don't really care about their poker rooms because there isn't much demand for it.

It's almost impossible to prevent collusion, since normally there is no ID verification on these rooms, and it's easy to create multiple accounts and try to rig the game. Also, since there isn't to much competition, I think that possibility that sites might use bots, is way higher than what you would find in fiat poker.

i liked to playing poker especially free rolls tournaments but very unfortunate currently it's very difficult to find bitcoin poker sites with plenty of active players at the poker rooms even i was wondering why if there are gambling sites announce but they seems missed this game and more likely to choose other games such as dice or even blackjack or roulette
