I see a lot of references to putting your passcodes and such into safes. Basically keeping things real safe, backups and then going as far as putting them into a safe.  How far does one really go with security. I mean if your say just playing around with a hundred or two, how necessary is it to go crazy and buy a safe?  Is that more for people who eventually move up to having more money invested in bitcoin? Or do people even with $100.00 in bitcoin go all the extra security measures around security and such with wallets?

It's all up to you and your risk profile.  Some people might go through security measures as a learning experience regardless of the funds they hold.  Others may have large sums of money that they feel the necessity to protect with extreme measures.  Then I'm sure there are those that don't care at all and take no backup or security measures whatsoever.
