There are continuing rumors about another bitcoin hardfork on December. If this happen, will bitcoin go for another all-high time or may suffer another big crash this time.

it’s new news but why we need new fork we have Bitcoin (Great p2p technology ) , ETH & LTC .

about problem of 1 MB block size can use Bitcoin cash as temp solve OR 2x .

Bitcoin gold , Bitcoin silver and any other fake forks is only burn of money and bad way to gain fast uses .  

in future we will find  Bitcoin , Altcoin and bitcoin forks (bitcoin gold , bitcoin silver , bitcoin moon , bitcoin sun , bitcoin light ,......etc)

There were also rumors that a hard fork to B2X was going to happen even though the original authors of the idea backed down. And what? And nothing happened. And nothing will happen in December, either.

I too heard it that it would occur today on november 24th.

Here,surprisingly the total number of coins would be 210 million,ten times that of bitcoin.

Out of it,170 million coins would be given as free air drop to BTC holders in the ratio of 1:10 and the remaining 40 million coins would be kept as a reward for miners.

It is said that two miners are responsible for this fork whose nick name is EVEY and 007.

Don't know exactly whether it would be just a scam project like bitcoin gold,in which most of the coins are premined.

It's something we had to look forward.I'm pretty sure the market value will have to dump before its hardfork and then pump again after the said fork happened.I think it's just the same old scenario with the past forks.And maybe by early next year another fork again i guess.

OP, where are you seeing the rumors at? Do you have any links to anywhere? I actually didn't hear about Bitcoin Gold until it was too late. Wish I would have had some BTC at the time(I was in ETH all in).

Oh well, ETH is going up hard right no anyways and I am flipping between that and BTC. Bitcoin will go for another all time high as it always does, then go back down. Buy the dips!

The release of another bitcoin hard fork is not new and won't trigger the value of bitcoin.This might affect BTC price for awhile but will easily recover, same thing happened on the release of BCH and BTG which immediately plunged. Bitcoin will still be the number one cryptocurrency.

After so many unreasonable forks, now nobody gives a damn about them. They hardly gonna have any major effect of price of altcoins or even Bitcoin. Price will stay bullish regardless of any fork unless the consensus with the fork is high. Right now altcoins are going up along with Bitcoin. I think any other fork will go unnoticed now just like Bitcoin diamond fork recently.

I think bitcoin is now use to with all challenges and now bitcoin don’t care about any fork because bitcoin is now very strong and stable in market and as far as I know when china banned bitcoin and the way bitcoin fight against china so that’s unbelievable and I think that was one of the tough days for bitcoin but still bitcoin is surviving and day by day its going more high so I think if any fork come to ward bitcoin so bitcoin will face it.

Hi there jonaire99! There are indeed so many news and articles about the new bitcoin fork, and this time they called it silver fork. Are they really mean a eating utensil silver fork? Lol, website like cryptocoin mastery, coin telegraph mention this fork but the merkle and other sources confirm that this is just a fake news generated by some investor to give time to buy low and sell high their possessions. One thing that I think this is a fake new is the lack of supporting information like the developers, investors and even open source fork from github is missing. All good with bitcoin except forks... all that rumors, price changes and other prevent btc stay real cryptocurrency.

I agree with your opinion. Bitcoin forks are too difficult to understand for the average investor, I think many people is not able to manage them properly (claiming new coins, finding trusted wallets, etc.)

Yes I heard of the upcoming fork of bitcoin by December, and another 2 forks at January. And the fork of bitcoin at December will give a rise in the price of bitcoin by January after the December fork and make the price of bitcoin drop before the fork.

in case you have bitcoin silver in mind then it seems like even a worse joke than bitcoin gold! it is practically the same thing too PoW algorithm : Equihash and Mining Hardware : GPU
the only difference is that Block Interval for it is 30 seconds which seems like an even bigger joke, there is no source code, there is no proper announcement topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2311582.0) there is no developer, none of the things it says such as replay protection and unique address is ready either to be sure.

all that said, i don't even think this fork will happen. even if it did, the effects will be minimal, maybe some small rally before and  a small dump after it. nothing to even consider.

I agree yes truly correct its big joke hard fork for silver without supporter's how its works especially there is no developer, I think nothing to worry for this fake news about  hard fork.

Those hardforks had becamed a fast and easy way to earn and make money, instead of make a new ethereum token, people are now targeting bitcoin, since its where the big money is, soo they need to change a few things, and almost all bitcoin holders will give volume to those coins... its insane no one understand we are giving free money to big whales, making these forks a centralized way to let whales to become more powerful.

In my point of view this is only a fake news created by some investors to offer time to purchase low and sell high their bitcoins. One thing that I think this is a fake news is the absence of supporting data like the investors, financial specialists, advertisements, and even the source code progress that will show they are creating a new kind of fork. I think the price will steadily go to upwards and the fake news will be simply ignored.
