What is MonERC?
MonERC is a tokenized version of Monero on the Ethereum blockchain, hence the name MonERC. (Monero + ERC20). The MonERC token, unlike Monero, has a limited supply of 15 million XMRC. It is faster, and cheaper than usual Monero transactions. MonERC also works with smart-contracts, allowing you to program your transactions.
But then, this poses a question: What about the untraceable transactions of Monero, since that it is its entire selling point? Because of the nature of ERC-20 tokens, it is impossible to make the transactions untraceable, but it is possible to obfuscate them using a tumbling mechanism, so that it is difficult to track. We are currently developing a MonERC compliant wallet designed exactly for this purpose.
