Definitely. Prices of all the cryptocurrencies follows BTC. When Bitcoin is going down then everything else is as well.
On top of that, BTC recently got its own smart contracts, so ETH doesn’t have much to offer compared to BTC anymore..

Yes, it is much more important than etherum. While etherum is quite popular itself, bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, the biggest one at the moment and has been the biggest since it's release, not to mention how much bitcoin is worth.

For the casual user bitcoin is not only the most famous but also more important crypto currency. For companies ethereum is more important because of the smart contracts. For online gamblers ethereum could become more important with quicker processing time and lower processing fee.

These 2 coins are based on different technologies and each of them has some pros and cons. This crypto coins basically cant be compared because they both are important in some way. Bitcoin is leading on the charts right now but that doesn't make it more important than Ethereum that is used for the smart contracts. Investment in these coins can bring the profit to both sides because they both have the high probability of success.

These no 2 ways about it, bitcoin is very much important than all other cryptocurrency because of its stability and high value. Bitcoin has more potential than other cryptocurrencies. and its the father of all coin !

Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum?
As for the bitcoin's value and more trusted cryptocurrency, for now bitcoin is more important than ethereum and I haven't known any direct exchanges of ethereum here in my country.It is still necessary to convert eth on bitcoin in order to cash out, which only mean ethereum's value varies on bitcoin's value when converted. |

I prefer Bitcoin more than ethereum or any other cryptocurrency because it is very easy to access it plus the returns are bigger here than other crypto out there.

While still bitcoin much more important than Ethereum. However, if bitcoin not upgrade, then Ethereum will surpass BTC.
The Ethereum is no longer just a crypto currency, it is a digital platform designed for different purposes.
The Ether's capabilities are huge and to date they have been used by no more than 10 percent.

In terms of price bitcoin is more valuable than ethereum but eth is slowly growing strong and we cannot deny the fact that eth is next to bitcoin and probably it will surpass bitcoin in the future but it's not an easy task to dethrone bitcoin at the top.
