I was interested to see how this would turned out when it actually happened. Obviously they would have never paid, but I did think the possibility of an intrusion and the stealing of some documents was possible. I guess we'll never know since it's encrypted Cheesy

Shame that bitcoin gets all the bad press (extortion, drugs, money laundering).  Where's all the good press like charity drives and benefits of crypto currency?

You would think all kidnapping would have moved over to Bitcoin already. No need to pick up cash from a drop and only need to make contact once.
One day some one will open a Kickstarter for killing people.

(I am a 1MB block supporter who thinks all users should be using Full-Node clients)
