How will bitcoin futures affect it's overall price

The cme we know will begin selling bitcoin futures in the next couple weeks. I have read some articles stating this will cause the great bitcoin crash of 2017. This author claims because of this ethereum will explode and make monumental gains like nothing bitcoin has ever seen.

This author used to be big into bitcoin seGeral years ago but now states it is a bubble about to get wrecked.

Now I had 5o pay 5 dollars for this info and I am going to get specific erc 20 token info to purchase.

Obviously as a long term hodler this is concerning. I am not saying  this can't happen but personally I feel big money is going to strt coming in now which will only strengthen the price.

there has been contradictory speculation regarding the future market that CME is adding. some say it will make bitcoin more legit and that alone will bring a lot of investors and price will go up a lot. just based on that alone. then obviously the market itself introduced bitcoin to new investors that may even buy bitcoin and hold it themselves directly.
this is what i think will happen.

there is also others saying Wall Street guys will come in and mess things up. but i think bitcoin market is bigger than that and mainly global not just US based to be affected like this.

we have to wait an see.

1) If BTC crashes, it will take ETH down with it. Some alts like ETH may receive a short term pump, but if BTC goes down, mid- to long-term it won't look good for the alt market either.

2) Ironically there is some concern how Wall Street could soil Bitcoin's reputation, however I'm not sure how BTC futures are supposed to lead to a big crash -- except for maybe by triggering the ultimate BTC bubble first. In the long run I'm positive though that this increase of active market participants will lead to a more stable BTC market.

Well, do you trust a guy that is willing to sell you a car, a house, anything without a single question?
Do you trust a guy that is telling you to invest knowing that he is heavenly into it , without questions?

Anybody can write an article claiming anything they want.I can publish right now a blog in which I claim Bill Gates is pouring money into altragxbalacoin. Why do you even bother reading articles about some altcoin exploding (really bad choice of words)  when it's 4 years already since bitcoin was supposed to be passed by numerous alt but here we are... still number 1?

Nobody knows what will happen, there is no magic orb, and certainly not an anonymous  blogger will predict the future

In current market Bitcoin is raise constantly. It is not affect in future. Because lot of changes are possible in future. So overall price are not affect in future market. Most of the traders are invest in Bitcoin and miners also mining the Bitcoin. This create major affects in other altcoins. These is the main reason in price fluctuation. But future digital market is more benefit to Altcoins.

Then keep yourself busy watching the bitcoin trend eeryday as you are really worried for what will happened. And if that is your assumption then try to think now what will you do in case that thing will happened. Everything is possible to happened.

Remember that Speculation will always be a Speculation if it's not happened yet. Now if your precious mind telling you that speculation will likely to happen, prepare some nice strategy in order to take advantage of that negative thing.

Finally someone with some proper understanding of how things really are. People just assume that CME will be opening up Bitcoin future markets, but they ignore the most important fact that if they don't end up getting an approval, there will be no CME offering Bitcoin related trading options. If CME speculation is what's keeping the market around current levels, it will definitely suffer a blow at the time the market knows about a rejection. In case of an approval, the market will obviously shoot up higher, likely close to, or even over the $10,000 level. People are just reading titles and ignore everything related to core aspects of an article/announcement. It's like nothing has changed in all the years here.

Bitcoin is not affect the other currency. If need for the information check the market prices. It will give to you for the prices list. but how is it supposed to be crashing the whole market? it makes no sense, they are just going to add bitcoin to their futures exchange, they are not going to massively buy bitcoin and dump all of them when the price touches $50k.

It is not a dirty move, well, of course that they are going to be able to manipulate the price via those futures, but not much, just think that having bitcoin on a future's exchange doesnt mean that it all will be like a centralized system, it is just now going to be tradeable in there, and all those people who never trusted in bitcoin might be interested to join now.

They all are like a good plan to manipulate bitcoin like they had never did before, i am a little bit scared of all this situation, but lets see how it goes, i dont think that it is going to crash the whole price because there are no chances to see that happening.
The only way to see it crashing again, is just if all those bitcoin miners decide to switch their hashrates to bitcoin cash again, if that happens, then bitcoin might fall again, and there is nothing that could stop them for doing this.

Main point of importance is that people speculate while things haven't been put into practice yet, which is called empty speculation. Ultimately, market movers benefit from an increasing and decreasing price, so it goes both ways. It shouldn't be all that different from what we have been experiencing already, because at the end of the day, nothing can come even close to what we have gone through in the last years. Another important fact is that all short term corrections have never had an actual long term impact on the market, and that's what people most of the times forget.

The futures is going to be one of the greatest things that bitcoin had during the last few months, maybe during years.

They are going to list it now, and you are really complaining about it? What do you want? the price can not suddenly go towards $50 thousand dollars because you really want to see it happening, it is all a whole process.
Lets see how it goes, but i dont think that it is going to be a bad thing because they are trying to do it in order to give people more possibilities to invest in bitcoin without having to have a wallet, and of course, have that money  into a bank if you want to.

I dont see this as a bad thing, and everytime that there is something new on the whole community a lot of people are always complaining about it because it is new.

I am getting really tired of this situation, but i am so acostumbrated to it after all. Lets just see what happens, there are more than 25 days left until they list bitcoin on their futures exchange, it would be huge, and i really know that the price of bitcoin will suddenly go up to more than nine thousand dollars each one of them.

i do not think it's a bad choice for Bitcoin to get listed on CME group's,
but if we're talking about the consequences,everything have their own advantage and disadvantage.
what i mean is every development that will happen with Bitcoin have its own weakness.
for example this one,
the biggest advantage for Bitcoin is we're out of our safe zone and trying to increase the demand by letting people know about how it works.
listing in CME group's is a good way to advertise Bitcoin to other people,by doing trade in their futures people know about something so called 'cryptocurrency' and slowly they will try to know about it.
in other hand this thing will cause a hype that will lead to massive decline in the future due to overpump,but if Bitcoin can deliver something new the price will be back and slowly moving upward.

it's not the rumour but it's statements from them,
they said they will list it in Q4 2017,which is should be around november~december,right ?
but everything can be happen with cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency can not live without drama.
