More than likely a scam. People hoping that the word 'Bitcoin' in the name will mean that people will flock to buy it in order to pump the price before they dump and run.

Nah, all those bitcoin <name> are scams. Do not invest in those coins. Better invest in a coin that's actually worthy of being invested in.

Everything that has Bitcoin in it's name and isn't Bitcoin Cash is a shitcoin (yes, BTG too) and will not get accepted by the community whatsoever.

All of these coins are premined before they are released and their only purpose is to make the developers rich.

Stay away from every BTC forked coin (besides BCC), you will save yourself much money.

No. Just look at how funny its name is. What a joke, "Bitcoin" on ETH smart contract.

Do not buy something just because it's rising, especially coins with such low market cap. Everyone could pump a coin with low trading volume and low market cap. If you want to seriously investing, look for better altcoin that has real use and great development. Bitcoin obviously is the best choice. Litecoin and Ethereum come second to mind. Those three are real-solid coin for investment. Those big coins could rise too, by the way. ETH is currently in a pump, rising almost $100 from last week prices—that is about 33% rise—making new all time high.

Please, don't buy that shitcoin with no purpose at all. What is the usefulness to buy the bitcoin red since there is no purpose of that shitcoin rather than become another crap scam coin? Bitcoin built on the ethereum platform and there is no benefit to buy it. Better to buy ethereum or neufund.

Far as i know, it is an altcoin who was given for free during the airdrop, nobody invested since you could get it for free, maybe you could get 400 of this tokens per week but i am not sure about it.

0.1 usd per but it reach 0.15 usd per this week.

This is the main mistake that almost all the newbies are making, they are just investing in some coins because they see it rising. Just like it happens with bitcoin all the time. Once that it breaks a new all time high, everybody is desesperated to buy bitcoins as soon as possible.

Do not buy something just because it's rising, especially coins with such low market cap. Everyone could pump a coin with low trading volume and low market cap.

Do you know that this is the best way to create marketing over an altcoin right? Have you ever seen an altcoin who starts with "bitcoin" on his name that did not even gave profit to their devs? (Bitcore, bitcoin cash, bitcoin gold, bitcoinred, bitcoin diamond, and the list is very long.

People hoping that the word 'Bitcoin' in the name will mean that people will flock to buy it in order to pump the price before they dump and run.

No, i saw it a few days ago because i was visiting their ann thread, right now it is below 7cents each one of them it is not worth it.It touched more than $0,14 a few hours ago, i dont know why all those who are speculating with this token did not sell all of them, because that was probably the biggest opportunity that they were going to have to sell those useless tokens.
I would never invest into a coin who has bitcoin on it's name, and less in something that it is below a dollar each one.

If it is more trader interest and its 24h capitalization can reach over 2 M $ I think this could happen.

I wouldn't bother, it doesn't seem like anything special and certainly not a viable alternative to bitcoin as the name might suggest. Generally bitcoin 'x' coins are useless junk.

Don't invest in any of the <popular coin> (random extra) coins such as <Bitcoin> (Red), period. All of them are scams. If they weren't they wouldn't need or use the popular coin names.

bitcoin red had some pump for a short term but it is not really a good idea to invest in projects like these for anything more than during their ongoing pumps. and making sure to dump them very fast because their pumping cycles never last long despite being big.
and at some point the market will reject all these "bitcoin clones" that are using the name of bitcoin only and introduce some useless shitcoin to the community. these coins live purely based on hype, take that away from them and they are nothing.

No, Who recommended you to Invest on BTCRED?, Don;t just get deceived easily because it has "BITCOIN" on it's name it does not mean that it is majestic as Bitcoin.
look at this:

and look at the price now on coinmarketcap and look at the chart. I see that this is a token for pump and dump. I don't recommend it because the twitter account handle BitcoinRed1 is throwing shade at BTC and I don't really like that kind of advertisement but you can invest if you want to and if you really believe in their road map. Youcan try other coins such as WAVES, but just what i said, if you rally like this token and their roadmap then you can invest to them but always remember, investment has risks. know your risks.

don't do it. There are already so many BTC forks being announced that you are getting a headache just tryingn to figure out what each of them does. You have BTC diamond, BTC gold, BTC cash everyone is trying to create something for themselves in order to make a quick profit. The reason all these BTC version are popping out is because they have an already well established user base (the BTC userbase) and they get free attention that way from people like you, who are willing to throw their money anywhere without regarding the true value of the coin. Try to find something that is more unique than just coins that are copying one another and you might make a real killing one day. Don't go with the mainstream.

They all do exactly the same. They're just pathetic little money grabs with no vision, skill or aptitude.

sooner or later the dev will dump on everyone. So even if you invest you have to get out earlier.

Look at the token...its a useless copy paste that can absolutely do nothing besides earning money for the dev.

Most of the buy orders might just be from himself pumping it up by buying his own tokens.

Sorry for everyone that invests..

It's a good lesson. The sooner they get burnt the sooner they will be forced to learn how to invest properly or get out otherwise.
