i got scammed by etherdelta . they have stolen all my tokens and ethereum from my ethereum wallet . i shared my private key via "import my account " on

https://etherdelta.com .

can any one please tell me , if above link is a fake link or i have been scammed by ether delta.
i saw my transaction on ethrscan.io , all my stolen money is transfered to etherdelta's wallet for the conversion from ethereum token to ethreum. and then it was transfered to another wallet which has ethereum worth 65,000$ .

from address: 0x4bFe64316A76e074A4D6c544dE7144f4a5F82689
to address: 0x628551ffa57e2cbbbf220b7100968844e6918a9c
transaction hash : 0xc0fe05d065bf6daf6b5a6147e657d0a5a35d8b49ffe16c68d18fd8a52ee16990 (converted eth tokens to eth)
transaction hash :0x0484c2fa8eb93936b2d8adb05f1e9e3de03d37294392bf61e6c07e3548a43bfe (final transaction of transferring money)

can any one suggest me , how can i file a complaint against etherdelta??

Too many scam reports now on etherdelta for this issue of giving and sharing the private keys to them, can you or someone tell me why do users should give their private keys to their platform? What exactly the purpose? Just want to ask since I never use this exchange ever, even there's still no issue from anyone who use this platform.

I can't imagine EtherDelta scamming people. Are you sure that you don't have any malware in your computer or haven't clicked the wrong URL and entered your private key in a phising website? Almost every case I have seen where a user accuses a popular website of scamming, it was actually the user's fault.

I think your privatekey and address that you put on etherdelta is a phishing site copy made on original platform and not the original link of https://etherdelta.com because if you read our disclaimer you are make own decision to trading on ED. and i dont know how against on etherdelta

You are just probably a victim of a phishing site, ED is aware about this thing. Are you sure that is the right URL you used?

Notices

The only official URL for EtherDelta is https://etherdelta.com. Bookmark it once and use the bookmark.

Do not send your tokens directly to the smart contract, or they will be lost and unrecoverable. Use the Deposit form (upper left) to send the proper deposit transaction.

Did you bookmarked them or you just visited them by typing it to the browser you use and let the search engine do the job ?

Since you admitted that you are a victim of a phishing site on your other thread you created.
i am sorry .. it was not ether delta , it was some other phishing site
i was scammed by

https://myetherẉalletṭ.com

be aware people .. it is not original site. this is fake one.
real site is: https://myetherẉalleṭ.com

The catch of putting another letter "t" on that phishing site, didn't you noticed that you are logging the wrong MEW? Still they are having some victims here in forum and complaining that they've been hacked.

You can't do anything now, you had to move on and thank you for spreading this link that serves everyone as a warning.

The one he calls ''the real site'' has two .  , one under the W and one under the T.

etherdelta isn't scam , it seems that some people are getting hacked tho
I received shady email so many times claiming to be from etherdelta , all were received in the email that I use in the airdrops
so people need to be careful with this , I haven't heard complaints from ethereum experienced users

You're a computer engineer by yourself and I guess you did know what you are clicking and visiting. You've been affected by a malware and it has been through your folders I guess.

Why you are saying that you haven't clicked or installed anything but yesterday you said you were a victim of it and luckily I quoted it.

Since you admitted that you are a victim of a phishing site on your other thread you created.

The answer is clear that you had been victimized by a phishing link and you know it to yourself that you have typed important letters there including your private key.

Its a scam for miners. You have enough ETH they say you don't and promise you a refund then you realise the cunts are using it as a transaction fee. Avoid Etherdelta:

"Your wallet's ETH balance (4.900884156 ETH) is not enough to cover the gas cost (Ethereum network fee). EtherDelta sends 5.25 ETH with each transaction. This is an overestimate and the excess will get refunded to you. It's a good idea to send more than 5.25 so you can pay for not only this transaction, but also future transactions you do on EtherDelta. The gas has to come directly from your Wallet (EtherDelta has no physical way of paying gas from your deposited ETH)."

Too many scam reports now on etherdelta for this issue of giving and sharing the private keys to them, can you or someone tell me why do users should give their private keys to their platform? What exactly the purpose? Just want to ask since I never use this exchange ever, even there's still no issue from anyone who use this platform.

I'm using it for a while now, and the only problem I had with them a while ago is that the miners don't mine your tx and let it pending for I don't know how long, even for over two days I experienced once, making inexperienced users to try to make the tx again and then they get to keep the mining fees.

It is actually very secure you know. Your private keys are needed in order to make and to log into your account. The best way I can explain this is that they are needed to make some kind of extension of your wallet, it's a decentralized exchange and the only way to enter it is with a pair of your keys and address. You create some kind of 'channel' between your account and their exchange. Once that channel is created you still need to deposit the tokens from your main wallet to that account you just created, the deposit can only be asked from the inside of EtherDelta and must be sent/confirmed from your wallet.

They don't have access to your funds unless you send them from your wallet to that copy of your account you just made with your address and your keys, and the only way to get scammed is if you are on a phishing website and you send your tokens to them, then, those one are lost.

That's probably what OP did, he did send his tokens/ether to one of those fishing sites... Get over it OP, shits happens!! Learn from it...
