I’m pretty new to this and I’ve been trading on Gatecoin as I’m in Hong King. In the past the order books had a fairly defined Bid and Ask paywall at around 10 coins with a fairly consistent spread and Trading amounts were generally between 0.1 to 3 or 4 coins. Recently trade is dominated by hundreds of 0.01 or similar trades which are regular but add up to high volatility but low volume. What’s driving this?

Even though it is a small number, its value is very large. While the money is freeze, the bitcoin has multiplied so much that it is far from its past.

I realise the value of a unit of btc has increased. This is about a change in the trading volume and frequency that is across the board, suggesting some kind of new factor.

not really that low. but still low. this is a clear example of an exchange with low volume. not that many people trade on this exchange, if you check their total volume it is pretty low compared to the rest of the exchanges. its rank is 48 even lower than Yobit!!!
pay a visit to big exchanges with more users and more volume and you will see how a packed order book looks like. check exchanges like bitstamp, bitfinex, Huobi, kraken.

Hey. What's going on now, the bitcoin price is falling down. From 40k it now drops to 20k. What happens, does the price of bitcoin be recovered later? I hope that the price of bitcoin will gradually recover. Is this possible for bitcoin popularity to be lost or perhaps the biggest investor deliberately drop the price so they can buy bitcoin at a cheap price.
