Hi,

I'm yet to buy any Bitcoins. There are a variety of companies offering to take credit card but their fees are very different and hard to compare.

What are people's recommendations for moving from USD or AUD directly to BTC or other cryptocurrencies?

Thanks for your time

Buying BTC with credit / debit card is also convenient but it will be more expensive than you would find on the exchange. Let's try to buy USDT then buy BTC

Thanks for that suggestion.

USDT seems almost as variable in fees depending on how you buy it and where you buy it, due also to fees charged for transferring it to exchanges.

What is the best method/wallet to use for buying USDT?

Maybe you mean that which is the best exchange you can use your credit/debit card to buy Bitcoin with? If you wanna find one out I think you should try to use Coinbase, it's a legit exchange and you can use your debit/credit card to buy Bitcoin in here as long as it's available in your country

Okay I just had to drop in to play the devil's advocate here. You do know what you're getting into with USDT right? You heard that they where just recently hacked off of 30 million coins? And you would still invest in their cryptocurrency? Come on. They'll just 'print' more, obviously. But that's not what crypto is supposed to be.

If you want to but Bitcoin with credit card i recommend you Coinbase. I usually buy my bitcoin there. There are some more good and trusted websites too. You can read this article:

You can link your credit/debit card and then buy Bitcoins using the exchanges where payment through Paypal is accepted. If I am not wrong then you can directly buy Bitcoins through sites like Cex.io (I haven't tried it as I had verification issues). You need to confirm the ownership of the credit/debit card before placing an order (it works even for the virtual cards). Make sure you are confirming the foreign exchange rate while doing the transaction.

First of all, it is totally depends on you if you wanna buy bitcoin through your credit card or debit card. Seconds, here is a site where you can see the reviews and check each site where you can but bitcoin https://www.bestbitcoinexchange.io/. Third, before you buy bitcoin in any website you should always check the rate of bitcoin in your country because in each currency it is different so be careful. Lastly, make sure that you always check the reviews of that website that you have chosen. It is important that you know what you are doing and you are sure that it is a legit website. It is your job to protect your privacy and information, there are many hackers now around the world, so be always careful. As possible don't buy bitcoin with real money and try to earn bitcoin with just nothing from the start like me. I never hand deposit or bought bitcoin with my real money.  Wink
