I just can't belive what im seeing. This is why i don't gain anything big when trading in 20-30 USD range.
Please look at the picture.
When you BUY you get cut by 0.025% fee from Bittrex..
BUT in order to SELL you actualy need 10 USD MORE in profits to earn only 2 bucks?
Come on, please tell me what kind of joke is this? When i want to sell i need a difference at minimum 10 USD for a crypto to go up so i can literaly earn 1-2 USD!

PLEASE LOOK!THe price when i bought and the price when sell..And see how LOW the earning is!!!

With their volume they can afford to keep draining from low volume trade. I mean that from their perspective your presence on exchange is burden. Think about it - they spend exactly the same amount of computing power to process your volume as they spend processing million dollar or any other trade. And they HAVE to support all customers equally. So the only logical way is to make those who generate less profit to pay more or get out.

Also AFAIK bittrex uses Microsoft platform to power their engine - that makes scalability really painful, so I assume they are struggling with common problem in IT - How to lower the load, without lowering profits. As usual users will be those who pay Wink

Bitstamp features the same fee structure. Both are highest in markets, all other exchangers are lower.

Most others offer a monthly trade volume based discount, I once had a month on Kraken where I was like 0.14% on fees.
If someone could shout out a great new exchange I would be all ears, Kraken seems to need another month or two for fixing their broken engines.

With their problems on user verification and lack of support I expect them soon downgrade to the levels of Yobit or worse, so the scalability issue is almost fixed.
I know, I am mean, but they are also mean with their customers.

And nobody answered on my question : Is 10 USD fee NORMAL?

First of all, I've checked your numbers and in my case they are different. 669.96670022 and 666.62522041. On the right side I have 666.62522041 instead of 668.something, even worse than you.
Also if you enter the same number in a different order, the results are different (LOL).
Now the answer to your question, with my numbers:

0.39242276 * 1703.00000009 = 668.29596031
left side: 669.96670022 - 668.29596031 = 1.67
right side: 668.29596031 - 666.62522041 = 1.67

1.67 / 668.29596031 = 0.0024 = 0.24%
I knew of 0.20% fee, but it looks like it's closer to 0.25%.

However, the math looks pretty good imho.

Edit: I don't get your 10$ math. I've set the same numbers in the first cells at left and right to make everything correct and not compare apples with oranges. I hope that you have understood mine.

10 USD for crypto to go up to get any plus of 1 USD..Look one more time at the numbers. You see 1703 bought price and 1707 selling price..That should be 4 USD earning right? When you take SELLING fee 0.25% that would be $4 - $1.6 = 2.4 USD
Im in MINUS 1 USD so that means they actualy stole me 3.4 USD on this trading.

However, this NEVER happened to other sites, my friends doesn't have this crazy fee at other sites, we tested Poloniex and it's working perfectly just like the numbers were shown.

Well how else do you expect the exchange to make a profit? They're not running this as a charity, they have to benefit somehow from the growth and usage of their platform and they do it via charging a percentage fee on all trades.

You need to make a better percentage profit than their fees, that's all.

Otherwise, you'll get hit by those fees, no doubt.

Lol wtf. Deposit more. It sounds like you're flipping pennies around trying to earn a few bucks. Or maybe just get a job so you can earn something rather than nothing.

Of course. Their fees are clearly stated on the website.

Also you have to realise that nobody on the orderbook will pay you market rate. Bid orders will always be below market rate, meaning that if you buy from an ask order and sell to a bid order you'll always result in a loss even if the price stays the same or even goes up a bit.

This plus the 0.2% or so trading fees they take(which isn't much by crypto standards) is why you have less BTC than you began with.

Ah, I see, OP didn't understand how exchanges work!
Those differences come from other user's orders, not from exchange.

If on a certain exchange you can find people buying Bitcoin only at 1000$ now and you sell, the 7000$ profit is for the user who bought, not for the exchange. The exchange still gets only the displayed 0.20-0.25% fee and the withdrawal fees.

On Bittrex case don't forget about the withdrawal fees, since last time I've checked they were bigger than usual. (Now even withdrawals are tricky, I hope that you know that.)
