Plunk in the numbers.

5,500 Mhash/s (5.5 Ghash/s)
30W
$0.15 per kWh

Earns revenue of about $14 per day (0.14 BTC) at the current difficulty and exchange rate.   Of course, the only reason that earns 0.14 BTC and not 0.014 BTC is because there aren't a whole lot of other people's Jalapenos shipping either.

The first report was at most 0.25 BTC a day with reasonable power consumption (50W or lower). The difficulty was very low, Now the difficulty is gonna 20M, Still reasonable because the being only needs 50W instead of using GPU rig (that means 1200W at least) to do 0.1BTC a day.

However, BFL may just say, begone. So the number you see, not solid enough due to the waiting time.
