Announcement: Silverwolf's BOT Pool has launched!

http://swmining.mine.nu/bot

This is a BottleCaps Pool.

Features :
* VARDIFF Support (Beta)
* PoW Scrypt with PoS Support (Beta)
* PPLNS payout system
* Dynamic PPLNS lastNshares calculation for correct payouts!
* PPLNS Status Display for 100% transparency (Very Cool!). You can see exactly where every coin goes.
* Stratum support.
* Support Ticket System for easy reporting of issues
* 1% Fee
* Detailed Stats
* Auto or Manual (Instant) Payout

To Connect :
1. Register an account then login & setup your workers.

2. Connect your miners as follows :

url = http://swmining.mine.nu
port = 3336 (Stratum)
username = username.workername
password = workerpassword

3. Start Mining !

PLEASE NOTE: This pool has VARDIFF Support. This means that your share difficulty will automatically be matched to your hashrate!

This provides lower overall stales and better performance. When your miner first connects it will be started at the lowest possible difficulty of 5. Every 30 seconds the difficulty will be adjusted to better match your hash rate. After a few minutes it will stabilize at the optimal value for you.

Awesome Silverwolf.  I thought I saw some post a few days ago that mentioned you might open a Bottlecaps pool.  Looks like I either tried jumping on before you got the site up, or your missing a URL in your announcement.

I already do throw most of my hash power towards LTC.  I just really like Bottlecaps, and the PoS part of the coin, making it more secure and more energy efficient in the future.  Sure it's a copy, but when you consider the other things in the mix, and the support behind it, Plus it's just a fun coin to have, makes it my fav alt coin, aside from whatever you consider LTC to be.

I've been thinking about how to add that without making it look stupid.  Suggestions ?

How is the VARDIFF working for you guys ?

It's been working really well for my rigs but I'd like to hear any thoughts you might have on the subject.

After it finishes adjusting for your hash rate, you should be getting 1 share about every 10 seconds or so if it's working right.

Seems to be working well.  Reacts as expected when my hashrate is lowered or increased. Averaging a share every 9-10s.

On low very diffs (i.e. 16) the average is much less due to short block times. Not much you can do there though.

edit: Re-read first post, min = 5, though mine never went below 16

I'm glad it's working well for you.  I haven't had any problems since I finished tweaking it.   Once I consider it stable, it'll be rolled out to all my pools!

http://swmining.mine.nu/bot and http://swmining.mine.nu/sbc
firefox browser accepts these pools as one website - http://swmining.mine.nu
so there is no option to save the password for each pool.
bad idea with the names of the pools.

the1silverwolf: I like your pool, but I do pool switching base on short term profitability... and right now BOT/CAP is falling hard on Cryptsy.
(I am the user "somew" in your pools).
