Seems a bit unrealistic... Nonetheless who knows if in a few years bitcoin could reach astronomic prices and ether could also rise to high values ( even though lower than bitcoin)

I would say no. They are coins made for different reasons with very different mechanisms.

Bitcoin is becoming a store of value as much as a transactional currency, with a hard cap circulation of 21 million coins. Scarcity is built in.

Ethereum already has over 95 million coins in circulation. An additional ~20% of the circulating supply in new coins are created every year, with no hard cap.

I think not because BTC was first and you know how it goes with this. But you can never know, this is open market, anything can happen

people have got so much investment and are still investing in bitcoin. this makes it difficult to liken etherum to bitcoin......some people ain't even willing to leave bitcoin to another crypto for now.

I don't really want it to increase too much. If it does look how much the transactions will start to cost us wise. More congestion maybe as well. There is more ether then btc I think. It's meant to be more plentiful and works well with tokens which use it to make transaction, so it is very important fees are cheap and fast. It will be interesting to see which way it goes with Eth. Bitcoin will stay the most valuable for a long time to come. It is actually unfair to compare direct value without factoring in the coin rarity first.

i don't think so but its a good medium level investment that should hopefully see some solid gains as the market continues to be hot.

This time will never come, only when bitcoin is dead. And by the way, looking at the exhaustibility of resources is possible, then the price will stop. In the meantime, there is volatility bitcoin, it will be impossible.

I would say NO, not possible for ETH to get to BTC
Pricing, it will track BTC but not to same value
BTC was the first and has the demand, it also has more
Awareness worldwide, but than again it is an open market
And high demand and want for something will push pricing up.

It will take time before ethereum catch up with bitcoin, or it will never be? The best possible candidate to meet bitcoin is the bitcoin cash. A lot of cryptocurrencies price are still looking for booster to pump their prices up.

Most people only know Bitcoin, they don't even know the existance of other cryptocurrencies.

So i don't believe so. What I do think is another more superior coin pops up and
might replace the second spot.

For a few years BTC is unreachable. But I think ETH will overtake it due to ETH's flexibility.

There is no way to happen that at least in near future. The gap between the bitcoin and ethereum was not so big last couple of years ago. However since last two year that gap has increased so much that it is very difficult for ethereum to reach the half way of that. Currently bitcoin is at ~1000 USD mark (9700 to 9555 USD)  range. Whereas Ethereum is at 475 USD. Interestingly widely criticized bitcoin-cash has managed to reach ~1600USD range in few weeks from 300USD mark. THough this raise has been observed from the specific countries investment. But still ethereum is finding it difficult to break that 1000 USD barrier so far.
One that is in favor of ethereum and that is the market capital it has. It is second largest market capital next to bitcoin. Other coins have less than half of its market capital. This indicates confidence of investors in it.

NO. The price difference between the two is huge. BTC is trading around 9000 and ETH around 450. Both will appreciate but catching it up,  never.

Yes it will, maybe not contact but in my opinion it will be a time that etherum will be strong opponent for bitcoin in price, and it can be even in next 3 years.

Circulating Supply of ETH is 6 time BTC, so its market cap needs to become 6 time BTC if it wants to catch it.
It means 930$B market cap for ETH.
It doesnt seem that logical to my eyes.
