I just logged on to Electrum. I thought I had sold my bitcoins...
However Electrum shows a balance of 0.92? See pic...
How do I know the balance shown is correct?
Electrum is connected.  Smiley

Yes, it should be correct. You can double check and confirm your wallet balance using bitref, just enter your address there and it will help you automatically check your balance. Smiley

That's quite an amount of BTC traded, by the way, seems like you are an early bird. Tongue

Try to change the server you're connected to and check your addresses in any blockexplorer, If you see the funds there then you actually have them.

No I think its mBTC. Confusing.
I only had 2 bitcoins at most.
So the balance in Electrum is in mBTC.
Which means I have nothing.....

Was it also confusing when you had 1959.12254?

You can change this to BTC if you want, somewhere in Settings. Personally, I prefer mBTC though, it's a much easier format for small amounts.

Yes it is in mBTC, as stated in your balance. If you are accustomed on seeing multiple zeroes on your balance, head on to File > Preferences and click on Wallet. As of this time, you have 0.00092 BTC and that is approximately $7.51 at the time of this writing. Still amounts to something now compared to three years ago.
