It may be the currency of the future, but it now appears that Bitcoin is not immune to the U.S. government's prying eyes and hands — especially when it's being used to fuel black market activities.

Silver lining: the US government just admitted it considers Bitcoins a valuable asset, worth owning (and hoarding) for itself.

They would never have bothered to confiscate a bag of dog poo or a roomful of air guitars.
