Can ETH Touch 500$ in new year?

Eth is going very well. And actually i just shocked when i saw the price is 400$ , because i never think eth can be pump like this in 2017!  But now it's happening.

So, what do you think , can eth touch 500$ mark in new year ?

This is very likely to happen. Ethereum keeps pushing and pushing and it seems this time it could go even higher. Markets are very suitable for etherum to keep on goin. That 500$ milestone will be achieved before too long.

I think it can happen to see the current development of ETH.
I think 700 $ will be up in next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if this happened by the end of this year. Ether did a great job by creating a platform for ICO funding, and although ICOs still don't have a great reputation, there is a small portion of them that are actually legit and compensate all the others (enjin coin, file coin, pundi, bounti, tenX, storj, are just a few examples). Regulation can actually help ehtereum a lot, and I think this is already happening, and this is why it's price is rising. they will even have it's first regulated bond, and this means that institutional money might start going into ether as well, because more legit ICOs will use ethereum platform, and more investors will buy them.

In a new year and that's possible. Maybe we will see the ethereum will worth more in the next month and but i guess about the $500 should become our next pit stop to the ethereum's price. the market is really bullish.

There's 100% possibility that ETH will touch 500$ this year. I believe that it may hit even 550-600USD price, because it's following BTC which is growing very fast. I'd recommend to hold any ETH you possess at the moment.

i think it will more than $500, because in the end of year people will have a lot of money from year end bonus. They can use it to invest - like me.

Most defintly, Eth is best cryptocurrency right after bitcoin, people really underestimate how good Eth is, and because how good it is and how many new things it brings to the crypto world makes it  the next perfecxt traget for investors and bussnies owners, right after bitcoin, and in my opinion the higher the bitcoin will go the more and more people will start getting interssted in the cryptocurrency and this will lead to ethereum becoming more popular wich will lead to its price rising up, it may not reach high prices like bitcoin where it is worth 1000$ or 2000$ dollars, but it will be the most used crypto currency, just look at how many people are annoncing the release of ICO's which are based on ethereum.

To my knowledge there seems no doubt anymore I guess, because Eth including altcoin that has attracted to many people to investing in it. And I think the price it certainly would be reach at $500 in the new year, so..yes I think it can.

Temporarily for a short timespan, since it's merely +25% ranging up from $400, that's almost "nothing for crypto". On the other hand this might only happen because of https://techcrunch.com/2017/11/07/a-major-vulnerability-has-frozen-hundreds-of-millions-of-dollars-of-ethereum/ and the frozen wallets affecting several ICOs.
Developers from affected projects might be able to postphone expenditures until situation got solved, than having to recover company funds by market selling ETH.

I agree with your opinion. But I think there need some time to achieve that goal. A lot of ICO projects have raised a lot of ETH and I think they may sell part of them to have development funds.

With its popularity, I say yes. Being dubbed as second to Bitcoin will eventually help. It's faster than bitcoin and cheaper so new people to crypto will find it better with ETH than BTC thus having more following.
