These are a lot cheaper than cablesarus. His cables almost add 25% more to the cost of the card lol

With great video cards comes great power consumption.

Well that thing is only 12cm long, shorter = harder to use, less convenient. Also, it's just a 1x extender, so you are only saving $2.45 compared to Cablesaurus. That's not even including shipping and tax if there is.

Cablesaurus' service is awesome too Tongue

You get two cables at 9mart. So you'd be saving 7 dollars per cable. They have 16x extenders for the same price. Everything ships free. I find it hard to believe that I need to pay $50 for 4 extender cables.  What do you mean by service? I think anyone can plug in extender cables...

With great video cards comes great power consumption.

Oh didn't see the 2x.

Service as in reliable-ness, customer service.

There have been other links to cheap extenders or adapters, and many miners have claimed that they have blown up, melted, etc, and damaged hardware. I'm not saying that Cablesaurus is like 100% perfect, but considering how many people have given positive feedback, I think it is worth it for the price.

what about this?

Ships from Hong Kong with an ETA of 19 days. Cablesaurus got me my package in less than a business week. This is a good deal if you know what you are doing with bitcoin mining almost a month from now. wait...

One of the main reasons I bought from Cablesaurus was the fact they offer express shipping.

I'd rather pay $30 and get my cables in 1-2 days internationally, than lose out on 2-3 weeks of mining income with 'cheap' shipping.
You actually end up losing money by waiting so long to get your cards online.

I've used these.  Prompt shipment and a quality product (unlike some others I've tried, like Ameri-Rack).

They come in different lengths too iirc.

$100 for a 12" cable? I'm seeing that right, right?

Indeed, seems like cablesaurus has abetter deal.  Their cable is 19cm (~ 7inches) and costs far less.  Oh well.

I will say that the Amerirack cables are quite tough though.

For the price, they better be fantastic cables lol. Really these are more aimed at enterprise-class operations where uptime and longevity are key. With mining, we are pushing the limits of the hardware and often breaking it in the process. However, it would be nice if Cablesaurus added longer cables. I suppose you could plug one cable into the other though.

they are the same, same packaging, same component, same quality, both works as well.
You pay more for a little faster shipping.

I've ordered 16x extenders from 9mart. It took about 2 weeks for them to arrive in FL. They all work fine, pretty happy with them.

I ordered 10 pci express extenders from them, used the 30 dollar dhl shipping, arrived in 3 days! The items were great, worked flawlessly! 2 were defective though, they replaced them for free.

+1 for them!

Do you understand what the difference is between these cables?

Take a closer look...  Then read about power draw from the motherboard...

You see that 4-pin molex/power connector by any chance with cablesarus product?  What do you think it's for?

I was't talking about that one. The one with the Molex connector is $25 while the standard one is 12. 9marts is $4.50.
I was going to solder on my own molex connectors and BAM $20 for 5 mins of work.

In that case, I think you can answer your own question.  Give it a try and let us know how it works.
I suspect it will work just fine Smiley
