Hi all. New here and was just wondering if you are mining for fun or profit. Ultimately I'd like a return on my money. If the machine pays itself back in one year I'm fine with that. It's essentially like getting free equipment. I started with GPUs but difficulty and electricity cost quickly killed that. Just waiting for my BFL equipment now.

I guess you could say I'm mining for profit, but I have not made an investment yet, therefore my profit is quite low. I'm just trying to see how everything goes.

I personally mine just for fun at the moment. I have 2 of the USB ASIC miners I bought from ebay, so I'm not exactly a competitive miner. Looking to get into the BFL rigs once they are more readily available, but it just doesn't make sense to pay a 10x premium on gear at the moment.

I plan to mine for fun and learning if I can manage to get through all the hoops necessary to get some mining hardware!
I don't think I'll be able to make any real profit, at least for quite a while.
My first goal is to get a USB block erupter - probably not going to make any money off it but I'm sure I'll learn a lot along the way.

Do you have any good contacts for cheap bulk erupters?

I am currently mining for fun but my existing GPUs. But getting a small amount of profit along the way is nice too. By the way, I am seeing a lot of groupbuys in regards to various ASIC hardware. I am interested to read more and investigate further before investing on any ASIC hardware. Which particular one would you recommend checking out? And why? Your opinion is appreciated.
