More forks are coming that piggyback the Bitcoin brand, so better collect them in one thread. I will edit this if needed.

In the ensuing comparison, I'm more optimistic about the super bitcoin that Li Xiaolai has. The coins on Li are all very expensive, so at 12.24 I would try to get Super Bitcoins.

I think your list should be started with another cryptocurrency. Remember — Litecoin appeared as a fork of Bitcoin more than six years ago. And still it is stable, fast and reliable crypto.

How about not delievered BCD coins by exchanges... If they're makin a fork, they have to give our fork coins unconditionally. This is really unfair. For your list, a good one, but I don't stupport bitcoin forks strictly decided this.

It would be helpful if you also added the the block snapshot dates to your list so we know where out bitcoin was at the time of the fork to be able to claim it. With all the recent forks and the need to transfer your bitcoin to a new wallet before attempting to claim your forked coins, keeping track of what was where and at what time becomes diffident.

Did you read this?

https://medium.com/@btcblooddiamond/bitcoin-diamond-is-a-scam-of-epic-proportions-7d7908c43c22

https://twitter.com/BitGo/status/933379868892340225?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fmedium.com%2Fmedia%2Ff82df680ee51e0489032baf6a72323ed%3FpostId%3D7d7908c43c22

It doesn't look good for Bitcoin Diamond.... will it still be able to pump due the alt fork frenzy? It seems Bitcoin Gold is doing great, even if the devs pre-mined it, the price is $300 for a coin which is not bad at all, and the marketcap is at the top5 coins right now which is impressive... I wonder if we are going to end up with Bitcoin, 3 Bitcoin forks and Ethereum for the top 5 cryptocurrencies at this rate.

Im not touching Bitcoin Diamond for the time being anyway, maybe in a VM in another computer like treating radioactive material when I try to access the coins.

Wow. That sure are a lot of forks for just a year. Damn. Now i am really womdering if this is still something that is good for bitcoin. I mean, this will really cause a lot of confusions in the eyes of newbies that are looking into jumping inside the crypto world. Sure free stuff are great. But i think this is just too much forks inside a very short period of time. :/

Oh well, can't stop it. So better to just take advantage of it.

Great thread thanks!!

I hope you continue to keep this updated so I can more easily keep track of everything I have to dump on..

I think it would also be great if you could include links to writups and/or videos about how to go about "claiming" your fork coins from private keys and for trezor/ledger users..

There are lot of talking about coming forks. The thing is this will continue to happen just like it happened in the past. The market price of bitcoin will fall down and there are slightly chances of this thing to happen in coming few days. The only thing which can help us is our planning, like how we need to deal with such kind of upcoming forks. We need to prepare ourselves so that we may do better things.
