I don't think mining is for me. I can't work this thing out. It will come with power cord and an 8db antenna. I don't actually have my own internet.. I use neighbors WiFi. Their WiFi isn't strong enough to reach my desktop.

It will come with the box Avalon sent it with. You pay for the express shipping.

John K as escrow.. Or pick up in Vancouver. 150 BTC.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

I'm tilted I can't get this thing to work. I will keep trying to make it work.. if I do, i'll stop this selling.

Here's some facts. I can log in to the web UI. The wifi keeps alternating between 77%~ 0%. Perhaps it needs an ethernet connection to the modem.. which is not an option for me. Also, the leds, orange and green are all lit up. The wireless card stays lit as blue. I don't know what it means.

I will move this to my friend's house.. so i can have an ethernet connection. If it works, I will immediately sign up for shaw.

2 BTC reward to teamview my avalon and actually make it work.

Make sure you have a wifi antenna connected to the wifi card in the Avalon. I had the same problem and as soon as I connected an antenna it started hashing in under a minute.

Was it the antenna, or did you get it hooked up via ethernet?

I turned my desktop into a router.. so its using lan to connect to my desktop, which inturn relays data to the modem.

Open the avalon and look for the USb cable that goes to the wifi modem. Connect the usb cable to your computer and start bfgminer and hash with you computer!

Careful there, that's bad advice. He has to remove the J1 jumper before doing that. Remember the FPGA control board back feed power on the usb cable and I'm sure his computer's USB ports will not appreciate 5V coming back at it.
